John was born in the South Island, travelled overseas and worked in Michelin Star Restaurants in Europe. In Auckland he worked in the Hilton Hotel - White Restaurant- and more recent in O'Connell Street Bistro in the CBD
Our Head Chef: Barry Armstrong
Barry comes from the UK, where he worked for 12 at years different establishments, He worked with Peter Arthur at Downing Street and has been working in the team at Wine Chambers Restaurant for one year, where he has shown his talent, creativity and ability to run a kitchen like Number 5's.
We are very happy to have Barry with his talents heading the kitchen.
Simon Judd -Sous Chef-
He is from England, and he can cook, which might be surprising to some people!!
He has been cooking for 15 years in London and New Zealand. Great support for Barry!
